PAT'S BBQ - IN YOUR FACE BBQ!

If you haven't been to Pat's BBQ on 155 W Commonwealth Ave in SLC, Utah you need to start making plans now. This is one of my favorite local eateries - and not just because of the amazing food. For starters - you sit at picnic tables with other people you aren't familiar with (stranger danger rating 3.5 on a scale of 10) - but it's rarely awkward. Everyone goes overboard with the BBQ sauces at the tables, just like you will - everyone goes through napkin after napkin, just like you will - and everyone will get the meat sweats, just like you will. The atmosphere is home town. My advice - GET THERE EARLY ON FRIDAY for burnt ends. They always run out early - so plan accordingly. Burnt Ends are delicious little tender brisket tips.
